"But there are loads of calendars already". I hear you cry!. Yes. And how many of them do everything you want, are particularly well written and work with dragonfly well.
For me, this includes... none of them.
I've tried cpgnucalendar, totalcalendar, KalenderCPG + the one based on extcal. None do everything I want.
I want full theme compliance, xhtml, no tables, few database queries (particularly on blocks), private user calendar option (as this would be great for profile pro), groups calendar options, iCal support (surprisingly easy looking at how totalcalendar does it), public calendar options (including adding to waiting content for authorisation), rss feeds and so on.
This might be taking over the cpgnucalendar project (as Kris Henneman at www.cpgnucalendar.com/ is asking), or it might mean starting from scratch. |
